Ricardo Martínez Rojas, PhD, gave a conference at the International Congress on the “Importance of Labor Human Rights, Conciliation and Labor Peace”, regarding the preparation for the review of the Treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada (USMCA), in which he urged Mexican authorities and businessmen, particularly those from Chihuahua, to prepare for the review of the USMCA.
“Let us prepare for the review of the USMCA: go to your chambers, to associations; it is a part of us. It is necessary to have a culture of respect to the rights of collective association, it is very hard for us, everyone is afraid of unions, let us not see them as the devil”, he urged.
On behalf of the authorities that were present, the Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare, Diódoro José Siller Arguello, presented a recognition to the renowned speaker, who concluded the conference sessions that were presented during the International Congress.
“Thank you, Ricardo, for this extraordinary conference. The Government of the State of Chihuahua, through the Department of Labor and Social Welfare and the Labor Conciliation Center of the State of Chihuahua, present this recognition for your valuable participation as speaker at the International Congress on the Importance of Labor Human Rights, Conciliation and Labor Peace, in regard to the review of the USMCA.
Likewise, the director general of the Labor Conciliation Center of the State of Chihuahua, Fausto Barraza Arvizu and Arlen Rojas Olvera, joined in the presentation of the recognition.
