Identity and Address of the Responsible Party

De La Vega y Martínez Rojas, S.C., hereinafter referred to as “DLVMR”, domiciled at: Guillermo González Camarena 1100 -7th floor Colonia Santa Fe, Alvaro Obregón, México City  Zip Code 01210, which is its designated address to receive notices; in compliance with the provisions of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Private Parties (the Law), the Regulations of the Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data in Possession of Private Parties (the Regulations) and the guidelines of the Privacy Notice (the Guidelines).

Collected Personal Information

DLVMR may collect the necessary personal information for the fulfillment of the purposes established herein, which include the following, enunciatively: (i) name, (ii) address, (iii) company  and position therein, (iv) office telephone number and/or mobile phone (v) email, (vi) taxpayers’ registry number, (vii) occupation or profession, (viii) essential information for the existence of a juridical relationship including labor relationships, (ix) necessary information for the fulfillment of the obligations established in the applicable legislation.

In addition to the abovementioned personal information, DLVMR may collect personal information that is considered as sensitive, such as information pertaining to the case for which DLVMR was hired or information that you could provide in order to aid in the better evaluation of the case; upon signing this Notice,  you state your express consent for the collection and treatment of your information. 

Primary Purposes

Personal information collected by DLVMR will be administered and treated in compliance with the applicable Law, the Regulations and the Guidelines and with the objective of delivering the legal services provided by DLVMR to its clients, having the following primary purposes for its use: (iii) processing of and follow up on the legal services hired with DLVMR;  (vii) maintaining the legal relationship between the client and DLVMR up to date; (viii) those arising form the employment relationship that may exist with DLVMR; ; (ix) invoicing activities, clarifications and follow-up on collection.

Secondary Purposes

In the same manner, DLVMR may use your personal information for the following secondary purposes: (i) sending information, magazines and  news either on legal topics or on other topics that DLVMR may deem to be of interest to the client or user, as well as news, communications or advertisements from DLVMR ; (ii) sending invitations to conferences, seminars and pro-bono cultural, social or sports events in which DLVMR participates, and/or (iii) sending communications and invitations to participate in DLVMR projects or in projects that DLVMR may consider to be of interest to you.

Transference of personal information

We hereby inform you that your personal data may be transferred to corporations or persons outside of DLVMR,  such as its network of correspondents, with the sole objective of providing you with a better service; therefore, upon signing this Notice, you state your express agreement to said transference.

Means for obtaining your personal information

DLVMR may obtain your personal data from a digital environment, such as the Website or electronic communications established by you with DLVMR, as well as through correspondence, business cards , holder’s staff or telephone communications. 

DLVMR never obtains information automatically by means of cookies or web beacons or similar technologies.

Means to exercise your rights to access, rectification, cancellation, opposition to, limitation of the use of your personal information. 

You have the right to know which of your personal information is in our possession, what we use it for and the conditions of the use we make of it (Access). Additionally, it is your right to request the correction of your personal information in the event that it is outdated, inexact or incomplete (Rectification); that we eliminate your personal information from our records or data bases if you believe that this information is not being used in accordance with the principles, duties and obligations established in the regulations (Cancellation), as well as oppose to the use of your personal information for specific purposes (Opposition). These rights are known as ARCO rights.

Said email must specify:

  1. Full Name of the holder of the personal information.
  2. In the event of acting through a legal representative, specify the name of the legal representative and attach an electronic copy of the proxy letter or the corresponding notarial instrument.
  3. Email at which you may be informed of the answer to your request.
  4. Which of the ARCO rights you want to exercise, if you wish to limit the use or disclosure or whether you wish to revoke the consent for the treatment of your personal information.
  5. In the event that you wish to request rectification, please specify which is the incorrect information and the change that you wish to make, attaching a document that accredits that the information now being provided is correct.
  6. In case of requesting the limitation of use or disclosure, please specify which secondary purpose you wish to limit.


Additionally, following the provisions established by the LFPDPPP, it is required that you attach a document accrediting your identity, which may be:

  1. IFE [Voter’s Registration Card]
  2. Passport
  3. Military Service Card
  4. Professional License
  5. Immigration document that accredits the legal presence of the foreign national in the country.


In the event that the information provided in the Request is erroneous or insufficient, or the corresponding accrediting documents are not included, the Privacy Manager at DLVMR may request that you provide the necessary elements or documents to process said request within five (5) working days after the request is received. You will have ten (10) working days to fulfill this requirement, from the time in which you receive this requirement. Should no response be received within this period of time, the corresponding request will be considered as not having been presented.

The Privacy Manager at DLVMR will transmit the resolution to you within a maximum of twenty (20) working days from the date on which the request was received, with the objective of taking the corresponding action within fifteen (15) working days after the answer is sent to you, in the case of approved requests. The answer will be provided via email, at the address supplied in the request email.

If you requested the limitation of the use or disclosure of your personal information and if your request is approved, you will be registered in DLVMR’s exclusion list and an electronic certificate of the request will be sent to you. 

Changes to the Privacy Notice
