Charla liderazgo femenino 2025

On Tuesday March 11, the university campus lived a day full of activities, talks and events in commemoration of Women’s Day. Events that highlighted equality, diversity and well-being within our community were held and allowed students and collaborators to reflect on the fundamental role of women in history and in today’s society.

Within the framework of the event, a discussion organized by the Business School was held, bringing together three leading experts in the field of leadership and human talent management. The panel, titled “Female leadership and its transforming power on HR Trends” moderated by professor Tatiana Púa of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Management, sought to analyze the role played by women on the transformation of human resources practices today.

Thus, the discussion addressed key topics such as the new labor trends, the importance of building inclusive leadership profiles and how to achieve employee satisfaction and motivation in a corporate environment. Through an in-depth reflection on the changes taking place in the labor arena, the panelists offered valuable perspectives for fostering a more inclusive and transformative  leadership in organizations.

Blanya Correal, an industrial engineer and international consultant in Human Talent for LATAM highlighted three key trends that are transforming the current labor outlook. She highlighted the integration of artificial intelligence with human talent, emphasizing that, even though technology is advancing rapidly, the true challenge is combining them in a responsible manner. “Leadership has changed; it now requires the ability of creating an impact on hybrid teams, where people and machines work hand in hand”, she pointed out.

She then talked about the way in which the pandemic changed the perception of work, turning it into a tool for reaching personal goals and balancing work and personal life.

“Today’s companies have to be oriented toward offering quick solutions to their  clients’ needs, beyond traditional structures, which requires teams that are focused on agile results that are adapted to a changing market”, Correal explained.

For her part, Claudia Sogamoso, psychologist and business consultant in mental health and well-being, focused her intervention on the construction of a solid professional profile, particularly in a dynamic and changing environment. “To achieve professional and personal success, it is essential that young professionals are clear about their true passions, their capabilities, the opportunities offered in the market.

Identifying what you like and what you can do well speeds up the process and facilitates adaptation to the labor environment”, Sogamoso stated. Additionally, she highlighted the development of key skills, such as creativity, innovation and adaptability for improving the professional profile.

And lastly, Pilar Rincón, business partner at Procaps, addressed the value of maintaining a healthy and motivating work environment, explaining how, in her role, she seeks to accompany leaders in the creation of strategies that promote a positive and productive work environment, highlighting the relevance of satisfaction and motivation of personnel for organizational success.

“We focus on designing strategies that promote personnel well-being and satisfaction. The key lies in taking care of the talent and, to this end, we create initiatives that connect with the collaborators at an emotional level. The new generations have different expectations, that is why we devise strategies that make working in a plant and in an operative environment attractive. The challenge is to transform this work in something that is motivating and exciting, so that even a position like that of a medical representative is desired by everyone”, Rincón explained.

Commemoration and Care: a day dedicated to the role of women

The Department of Well-being and University Living, with the support of student groups, organized several service stands during the day that provided support to the attendants, offering resources and activities focused on self-care and emotional health.

Among the key activities, were a musical showcase, led by the Global Music Band, of the Cultural and Artistic Development Group; and discussions on the impact of women in biology and on those who have left their mark in literature throughout history. Likewise, student groups promoted reflections on the individual value of each woman, her goals, the emotional and physical care that enable them to achieve their well-being.

Why must talent mapping change?

Organizational talent selection now shows ample space for improvement due to three factors: lack of objectivity, poor connection with the future of the business or because the leaders do not consider it a priority.
