Workers approved, with 63% of the votes, the agreement established by the Volkswagen Independent Union of Automotive Industry Workers (SITIAVW) with the management of the German Company in its Puebla plant and, therefore, the strike scheduled for September 19, 2024 is averted.

63% of the Volkswagen workers in Puebla approved the agreement, with 4,195 votes in favor and 2,475 against, which prevented the strike. An increase of 10.5% and permanent contracts for 321 employees were agreed upon.
